Simple Syllabus has implemented a cookieless authentication standard. However, if you're still encountering an error, it may be worth reviewing your browser's cookie settings. While our new method doesn't rely on cookies, certain browser configurations can still interfere with the login process.
Users who have third-party cookies disabled might see an error message like “Refused to connect” or a “Sit Tight” message when trying to access a document. Ensuring that third-party cookies are allowed can often resolve these issues.
Here's how to unblock third-party cookies in Google Chrome on a computer:
- Open Chrome
- Click More Settings in the top right
- Click Privacy and security
- Click Third-party cookies
- Select Allow third-party cookies
